Skateboards Stolen
Mykim's boards that were apart of the Windows Art Project were stolen from the site. She would like to thank those responsible and hopes they enjoy the boards and are putting them to good use in some way shape or form.

Skateboards in trees?
As part of the Massachusettes Somerville Arts Council 2007 Windows Art Project, Mykim created 8 custom decks to be displayed outdoors in Union Square, Somerville, suspended from trees. This year's theme is "Acquainted with the Night" the title of a Robert Frost poem. The boards represent portraits of various strangers she encountered during the late evening hours throughout Boston. Each board was hand-drawn and painted. The project took nearly 2 months to complete.
